SCULPTURES
Ceramic sculptures shaped by life, memory and transformation
My ceramic sculptures explore what it means to be human — the traces we carry, the relationships that shape us and the constant movement between strength and vulnerability. Each work begins with an idea or an emotion, but the process remains open, allowing the clay to resist, respond and lead the form in unexpected directions.
Hand-built in my studio in Gentofte, Denmark, the sculptures are created as one-of-a-kind works. My practice is rooted in intuition and influenced by Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi, Buddhist philosophy and the beauty found in impermanence and imperfection.
The surfaces carry the marks of my hands and the transformation of fire. Some works are fired in an electric kiln, while others are shaped by atmospheric processes such as Anagama, wood firing and soda firing — leaving ash, flame and chance as visible collaborators.
If a sculpture speaks to you, you are warmly invited to contact me about purchasing the work, delivery or international shipping.
