HOLDING LIFE

She rises from the earth, carrying what every living thing depends upon. Water rests within her body — not hidden, but held with care and ceremony.

Her long neck arches upward, proud and alert, drawing attention to what she carries. She does not disappear into the background.

She claims her space. Part vessel, part creature, part guardian, she holds life between earth and sky.

Her form carries the weight of something ancient — as though she bears the traces of a life already lived. Her body holds not only what sustains life, but also the memory of all that has shaped it: pain and love, vulnerability and strength, loss and possibility.

She does not leave the past behind, nor does she collapse beneath it. She carries it within the same form as the life-giving water. Her surface bears the marks of clay, fire and transformation, while her open form remains ready to receive.
