The patient work of the hands is visible in the small indentations across the surface and the gently undulating rim.The glaze reveals deep blue and black tones beneath a silvery-grey veil — like a still sea in moonlight. Fire and soda have left their marks, giving the surface its distinctive play of colour. A cup to wrap your hands around and linger with as the tea steeps and a sense of calm settles in.
